I see you now
I’m scared you will soon leave
I see you then
And realize you already left me

I touch your cheeks
‘O to grab forever more
Yet years ago
They were mine and now they are yours

You are leaving me
My sadness stays
Your laughter not to be my everyday
My tears gather in my throat

I see you now
I saw you then
I see you tomorrow
And know it won’t last

Everything, everything ends
It all comes far too soon
