I love spring. It is such a fabulous season. It’s about rejuvenation and reinvigoration. The birds wildly chirp and flowers start to bloom. Ok. That last bit is hard on me. My allergies have been killing me. My eyes feel like they are going to fall out. My throat itches beyond belief. I’m exhausted from all the eye-rubbing, sneezing, and throat itching. Regardless, I love seeing the flowers bloom.
In order to celebrate the beginning of real spring weather, I bought an awesome red light jacket. I was completely excited to wear it this morning. Then I started transfering items from one jacket to the other. Then I had to stop said transfer. My new jacket didn’t have inside pockets. The horror! I suppose that’s what I get for doing so much online shopping.
I stood there for a second or two feeling sad. I love inside pockets. I feel stealthy. I feel protected from myself. Inside pockets help me minimize losing things. As a matter of fact, I often find money in my inside pockets, a year after. It’s an awesome feeling.
There you have it. My latest pet peeve. Without inside pockets I may very well be lost.

A small detail that can annoy us the beginning of spring. Objects that can be lost between the flowers and the dense brush. A good micro.

Women’s clothes are often made without pockets. Men would never buy pants without pockets, for example, but women do – so the designers save money by not giving us any. If asked, they’d probably say pockets – especially ones with stuff in them – ruin the line.
And don’t get me started on pockets that are there but don’t work! Shallow, at the wrong angle, seemingly designed for your things to fall out. Or even too deep. Doesn’t anybody wear these things in the design phase?

I usually wear 2 hoodies so I can have inside pockers. Its getting warmer though and I’m dreading it.

As it gets warmer, I usually get out my daypack. 1 giant pocket!

Well I have to say; a yellow jacket would have had inside pockets, wi-fi and even an in built heater because yellow is by far the best colour!
But I concur on two points; the perils of online shopping (ordering a pack of 25 name badges when I only needed one) and inside pockets are damn useful
