They all had to believe that she was in the dark

 

 

She knew that she had to hurry.   They would be arriving at any moment. She had already seen three of them en route. She needed to get there before them so that she could grab the papers. No one could see her take them.

They all had to believe that she was in the dark. Especially him. He could not know that she knew. It was the only way to have the upperhand. It all depended on her grabbing the papers before anyone could see them in her hands. She also had to mark the glass.  Her heart rate was accelerated and her eyes were darting, But by the time they came in, it would all be ok. She would have the information she needed and soon so would the others.  Knowledge was the key to liberation.
