Everybody has an angle

I was watching a rather maudlin television show the other night that kept me thinking of that REM song “everybody hurts.”  This world is filled with people seeking something to help them feel better and to be unbroken. It makes you want to be empathic with people wherever you encounter them.

If you can walk anywhere filled with empathy and zest then you may get hit by a wave of understanding.

Everyone is searching for an angle.  But what you find may very well be broken.

But from the bottom of it all one can rise above.
