After what seemed like an eternity
The morning light broke through
And the snow on the ground rested perfectly
The christmas tree lights went on
And up rose the toddler with his pitter patter
His eyes widely dancing to a merry song
Santa drank the milk and ate the cookies
And though there was no chimney
Presents Santa had left under the tree
In return the little boy hugged his mommy and daddy
And went about total gift-wrapping destruction
For he was a never-fading smile laddie
The christmas ham was swimming in basil thyme
And the hearts were pumping
For the little boy believed in a grand magical time
