I’m tired. I don’t know whether I gained or lost an hour. I tossed and turned. I had even napped. Yet, I’m tired. I’m groggy and foggy, although not soggy. My mind is rattled. All over the place. Time change does that. Inertia does that. The weight of the world does that. Well, even bad television does that. Tick tock. Time doesn’t hold steady even for those who wait. Waiting is the worst thing ever. Inpatient. Let’s go. Let’s get going. Time is moving on. The list of things to do grows longer. There’s no compass. No roots. No life jacket. Shake the head. Shake off the rattle.
