Well, there we have it. January came loaded with high expectations, of sorts. We didn’t want to have high expectations for January based on the horrific 2020. January is just a flip of the switch. Well, six days into January we had the capitol riots. Then we started rolling out the covid vaccine.
Here we have it. January is now over. One month into the new year. I don’t see how January was any different from December.

The obsession with 2020 in my never to be humble opinion (IMNTBHO) seems deeply troubling, an indicator of a cultural inability to comprehend cause and effect, logic. Have we become such lazy thinkers that commonsense has become that uncommon? Time, dates, years are all man-made ways of keeping up. For measurement that relates to commerce, record keeping, not a measurement of good or bad. The silliness regarding 2020 smacks of witchdoctor’s curses and cooties.

It’s bizarre, isn’t it?! Although I’m fully conscious that January 1 is no different to December 31, I still seem to believe my life is going to radical change on January 1 and a whole new person will rollup. Aren’t we humans strange?!!
