I’m always so grateful that dogs exist and are in our lives. They can be silly and fierce. They can be warm and fuzzy. They can remind one that life is meant to be lived. They also keep you honest. What would be the point of lying to a dog? They see you for who you are and remain by your side.
The other morning, I woke up to my dog’s eyes just staring at me. His gaze was so pure and simple. He was patiently waiting for me to wake up so that I could throw his toy. He stared at me with patience yet impatiently waiting to kick start the day. It truly is a very sweet start to the day.

Your post just made my day. I have a dog myself and would never take her for granted. They are angels in animals’ form. 🙂

The best way to start the day. I miss my dog a heck of a lot, even though he passed away several years ago. They’re something so incredibly comforting, loyal and heart-warming about them and their company. Your little furball has such loving eyes, definitely a gorgeous sight to wake up to 🙂
