Dark days, somber days
Restless moments
Fearful nights
The stage was set
Helping hand and a comforting smile
Peaceful silence
Non-judgmental eyes
All bits of what dreams are made of
Now there are others
Many wounded and broken
Some crying and fighting with themselves
Remember your own pain
And be that person you once needed

Styxx – blue collar man seemed to fit these words. (Once it was) dark days, restless moments (and all of those) fearful nights.
-and the stage was set-
To be who I once needed then

It is not very easy. Sometimes the things you lack as s child are things you never acquire.

This reminds me of King Krule’s “Easy Easy”—“‘Cause if you going through hell, we just keep going.”
