They ripple through your brain
Saturate your pores
Stifle your gait
Pinch your nerves
These little earthquakes pound your heart
Break your spirit
Mold your fears
They cause you pause
They heighten your anger
They mute your buzz
They make you falter
These little earthquakes pound your heart
Tinker with your hopes
Crack your beliefs
There is no there there
Move on from the breaks
Find a new map
Reorient your line of sight
These little earthquakes provide an out
They can be a gift

Funny. I love natural storms but hate human ones. I can’t protect myself from them.
